Which data is used, why it is used and how you can manage your choices.
Who is responsible
The controller for the Gia Nyxia website is Αγιαννίδη Ιωάννα Νεκταρία, 108 Pytheou Street, Athens 11743, GEMI 195754803000. For personal data matters, contact agianniden@gmail.com or on 210 902 6127.
This notice covers the features described below. Before additional services that process personal data are enabled, their providers, purposes and retention periods will be added here.
Browsing the website
Images, fonts and videos are served by this website. We do not use analytics or advertising tools, profiling or automated decision-making about you.
The connection between your device and the website is necessary to display the pages. Your privacy preference is stored in your browser, as described below.
When you contact us
The enquiry form processes your name, email, optional phone number and message to forward your request to the business at agianniden@gmail.com. If you email or call directly, we use the relevant contact details and the information you choose to provide so that we can respond.
The form is for communication and does not create or confirm an appointment. Its response tells you whether the message was accepted for sending or whether you need another way to contact us.
To prevent abusive submissions, a temporary limit of three accepted requests per 15 minutes applies. The counter uses a cryptographic hash of the IP address without storing the address itself in the counter, and expires after 15 minutes. This safeguard is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the form secure and working correctly. No external spam-checking service is used.
Message content is not retained in the website database. If delivered, it is held in the business’s mailbox to handle your request.
For service enquiries, where necessary, Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR applies to steps you request before entering into an agreement. For general questions, we rely on our legitimate interest in communicating and responding under Article 6(1)(f). Without the necessary contact details, we may be unable to reply.
Optional Google Maps embed
The embedded map loads only if you allow it. The basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. When enabled, Google receives technical data such as your IP address and browser information, and may use cookies according to the service and your account settings.
Google describes its processing, recipients and possible transfers outside the European Economic Area in its Privacy Policy. You can withdraw your choice in the privacy settings. This removes the active map and prevents it from loading again. To delete cookies already stored by Google, use your browser or Google settings.
If you follow an external map, GEMI or other service link, you visit that provider. Email and telephone providers also process data when you use their services to contact us.
How long data is kept
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle the request and, where required, to meet legal obligations or establish and defend claims. Retention depends on the purpose and applicable obligation, rather than one period for every case.
Your privacy preference is stored locally in your browser for 180 days. It includes the notice version, your map choice and the validity dates. More information is provided in our Cookie policy.
Your rights
Where the legal conditions apply, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Send your request to agianniden@gmail.com. We respond without undue delay and within one month. If a lawful extension is needed due to complexity or the number of requests, we will inform you within the first month. Reasonable verification of your identity may be needed to protect your data.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority. Information about your rights is available in the Authority’s official guidance.
